Another solid update has been released for Google Classroom - this one allows a much requested feature: scheduling posts for Classroom.
If you have ever created an assignment in the beginning of the day for your students and had your classes at the end of the day start and finish the assignment before they even made it to your class you know how frustrating that can be. You will now have the ability to control when an assignment, announcement and even a question appear in your stream by following these quick simple steps below.
Think about using for planned absences, emergencies, or even just to get super organized!
Step 1: Create the Post
This part of the process stays the same - add the directions and docs you want and select the class or classes you would like to post to.
Step 2 - Select the Drop Down arrow next to Assign
Here is where you will select the Schedule Option
Step 3 - Select a Date and Time you would like the Post to Appear in your Stream
After you pick the date and time you Click Schedule.
Step 4 - Check your Saved Posts in your Stream to see your Scheduled Posts!
Bonus Feature -
If you have the Classroom App on your Phone it will notify you when a scheduled post has successfully posted. You will also receive an email on your school GAFE account.
